About Gizmo

Gizmo is a handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd who came to us after his previous owner had to move. At first, life here was a little overwhelming for him-he was nervous and needed a few days before he felt safe enough to leave his kennel. But once Gizmo opened up, we discovered his true personality: playful and affectionate. But Gizmo does pick his friends, some people he has loved from the minute he met them, while others it takes time to build the connection. Gizmo will thrive as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and love he deserves. Because he was under socialized growing up, Gizmo may need multiple meet-and-greets to feel comfortable with new people-but once you earn his trust, you'll gain a loyal companion for life. He will do best with an experienced owner who understands how to give him the time and patience he needs to feel secure and confident.
