About Max

Max is a 3-year-old purebred Labrador Retriever with a big heart and even bigger energy. I'm looking to re-home Max as I am moving out of state into a city apartment that unfortunately has strict restrictions on larger dogs. Max is a high-energy, affectionate, and friendly companion who thrives in an active environment. He would do best with a family that has a large yard or enjoys going on frequent walks, hikes, or runs. He is incredibly loyal and loves being around people. He is great around children - constantly around both a 9-month-old and a 6-year-old, Max is gentle, playful, and patient. Max could use a bit of work on leash training, as he tends to pull when he gets excited. He is not neutered, so he may not be a good fit for households with unspayed female dogs.
