About Knox

Knox is an Old Time Scotch Collie Beautiful 3 year old boy that loves all people, available for adoption to be the only dog in the home. He does not hate all other dogs on sight but there can be issues with other dogs. About Knox: -resource guarding, not with people but with other animals. -he's been around all types of livestock and is safe with them. He's a great farm protector. Will alert to predators, including aerial predators -fine with cats (aside from feeding time) -He was started on scent training when he was around 8/9 months old. I have not followed through and finished up his training but he excelled at it when we were consistently training. -knows basic obedience commands -He is not neutered yet, this will be a condition of adoption. -he has herding potential if someone took the time to train. His only issue with this I have found so far is he will not turn back a sheep that challenges him. -he is crate trained -he rides well in vehicles - Vet references and adoption contract will be required.
