Khora is a foxhound mix that my daughter adopted 1.5 year ago from a shelter. Exact age is unknown. She has been a great companion for her as she is in college. Unfortunately, Khora has not adjusted well with this last move into their apartment. Due to management, my daughter is needing to find a home that better suits her. Khora has been experiencing separation anxiety and doesn't seem to be able to settle comfortably or relax. She does love her freedom, so land to roam would be great for her. A dog fence is needed as she likes to roam away from home at times. True foxhound! She is such a sweet girl, always smiling with her eyes. She loves cuddles and curling up on the couch with you! She is a sleeper lol She is a quiet girl, but so expressive with her eyes and even smiles to greet you. She is amazing with all animals she has come in contact with so far. She loved my daughter's old roommates cats (2) and gets along very well with family Australian shepherds (3). She also wants to be everyone's friend and upset if people don't stop to pet/greet. She is afraid of storms and loud noises. She deals with a high level of anxiety as well as unsettled if not with you someone or left alone. This has made it hard for my daughter to go to work or classes. We are so heartbroken, but we want what is best for her and what she needs to flourish.
