Peaches is an 18-year-old Chihuahua who proves that love and spirit don't fade with age. She weighs just 6 pounds and is both blind and deaf, but she gets around well and always finds her favorite spots. Peaches came to the rescue after her owner passed away. It's clear she was cherished and well cared for. She recently had a full checkup and bloodwork, and the vet gave her a clean bill of health with only minor age-related quirks. She isn't on any medication. This tiny girl loves her meals blended since she doesn't have any teeth, and she eats with enthusiasm every time. She isn't picky at all. Peaches enjoys the company of other small dogs and cats and has a big personality for such a little body. She'll bark to let you know when she wants attention, but that's just her way of making sure you remember she's there- as if you could forget! Peaches may show a bit of anxiety at times, or she could simply be adjusting to all the recent changes in her life. Either way, she settles in once she feels safe with her human. She's looking for a loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by care and comfort. Because of her tiny size, she would do best in a home with no small children.
