Asuka is a sweet and affectionate German Shepherd mix who has brought so much warmth and joy into my life over the past 3 years. I rescued her from the streets of my neighborhood when she was about a year old, and she's been a loving presence ever since. Asuka absolutely adores people, whether she's getting pets or simply relaxing nearby to keep you company. She thrives in environments where she feels secure and close to those around her. Her ideal home would be with a kind and patient family that enjoys her companionship and can give her the attention she deserves. She loves puzzles, lounging like a cat, playing tug-of-war, and going on morning and evening walks. Rope toys and heavy-duty rubber chews are her favorites. She knows basic commands like sit, wait, lie down, off (furniture), cuddles (permission to get on furniture), out (to leave the kitchen), and not to bolt out the door. She is house trained, not crate trained but does well left alone in the home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations as of January, no medical or dietary issues. She has lived with cats. However, she had one incident of food aggression with another dog in 2022, so separate feeding is recommended in multi-dog households. I just want to make sure Asuka finds a home that treasures her as much as I do. If you have any questions about her care, routine, or personality, feel free to reach out!
