URGENT Jeff Needs a Home - Foster or Forever! Sweet Jeff's story is heartbreaking. He was found tied to a pole, abandoned, left alone with nothing familiar around him. Imagine the fear, confusion, and loneliness he must have felt, with everything he knew suddenly gone. Jeff is currently at a police precinct, but he cannot stay there much longer. One of the kind sergeants reached out, hoping to help him find safety. Jeff has been there for about a week. At first, he was understandably scared and a little defensive-but with patience and gentle care, he warms up quickly. He is incredibly sweet, craves attention, and bonds deeply with those who give him the time he needs. The situation is urgent. In just a day or two, Jeff is scheduled to be transferred to the ACC kill shelter, where dogs are euthanized daily. Jeff is small, timid, and sensitive-he would not survive there. He needs someone who can open their heart and home immediately to save his life. One police officer shared, I gave him space, walked him on the leash, let him sniff me. I didn't touch him until he came up and licked my hand. He was truly trying to get me to pet him. Once she started to pet him he was crying for more pets. Poor baby-he's such a sweetheart.' Jeff even jumped into the police officers lap while doing leg presses lol Jeff just needs someone patient to show him love and security, and he blossoms into the amazing little companion he is. He's estimated to be 2-3 years old, weighs about 15 pounds, and has so much love to give. There is a rescue ready to help, but they cannot take him without a foster or adopter. Please, if you have room in your home and heart, step forward-Jeff's life depends on it. Foster or adopt today - let's save sweet Jeff.
