About Zelda

Meet Zelda��%BD'��%BD|born 7/4/22. Spayed female tortoiseshell Maincoon. Absolutely beautiful girl. Has a distinct heart on her front left paw. Indoor cat only! I have 4 male cats. I did a slow introduction like one is supposed to do. I acquired her 1/2024. When she eventually met one of my other cats he wanted to bop heads with her but Zelda hissed and swatted at him. This seemed to set the tone. 2 of my boy cats pick on Zelda. A few times where there was blood. She walks around scared. Scared to move from room to room. Cautiously looking to whether she is safe to eat, go potty or even rest. She wants me near her as I'm her protector. I yell at the boys but it still happens. I asked my friend that helps with rescues if I should rehome Zelda as she was the last to come into the home or if the 2 bullies should be rehomed. Although unfair and since all of the boys get along she felt that it would be best if Zelda was rehomed due to her safety. She needs to be an only pet as other animals make her nervous. She doesn't know how to read them. Fast movenrnt scares her. She doesn't seem to understand how to be a cat. She is super affectionate with me. Loves to be held. Loves attention. Loves to be brushed. Loved to eat. I always wanted a girl cat and now this happens. It's been going on far too long. I thought that things would change but it's getting worse. A great cat but not with other animals.
