About Bitsy

Bitsy is one incredibly smart and resilient Miniature Poodle. She was found all alone in the middle of nowhere, standing on a gravel road hoping someone would stop to help. Luckily, one of our Fur Fun foster moms came along - and Bitsy made sure she was noticed! Once safely off the road, our foster mom searched every nearby home, but no one recognized her. Bitsy was microchipped, which told us she's 12 years old - but her owner information was no longer current. When she arrived, her coat was overgrown, her eyes hidden behind hair, and her feet full of burrs. Her nails were so long we trimmed off more than half an inch! After some TLC, grooming, and love, Bitsy looks and feels so much better. Her stray hold has passed, and she's now ready to find the loving home she deserves. Bitsy is an easy, affectionate little lady who fits right in anywhere. She loves adults, children, small dogs, and even cats. She's housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her a joy to be around. Bitsy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. She's also had a full blood panel, dental, and radiographs. Bitsy is deaf and has a grade 4 left-sided heart murmur, but her heart is not enlarged and it isn't causing her any problems right now. This sweet senior girl has clearly been through a lot, but she hasn't let it dim her spirit. Bitsy is ready for a soft bed, kind hands, and a family to love her for the rest of her days.
