It breaks my heart to do this but I adopted a dog two years ago and I'm in grad school now and can no longer give her the care and attention she deserves. Her name is Boots! She's a rescue and was already an adult when I adopted her so her age is just a guess, I think 4 years old. She's so sweet and loving and really smart. I did a lot of work socializing her because straight out of the shelter she was fearful and reactive around other dogs. Now she loves the dog park and has lived with another dog (my last roommate's poodle). She can still be a little reactive walking by dogs on leash, but I take her to cafes to do work and she will just lay and hang out for hours. She loves people, no problem letting a stranger (Rover dog walker) take her out on a walk, or letting the neighbors catch her if she got out. (She never tried escaping when there was another dog at home, but I haven't been able to take her to the dog park or really connect with her the past few months and it's making her squirrely'|) She also loves an adventure! I've taken her hiking and backpacking and she has the best time ever, will chase lizards but sticks pretty close off leash and always comes back. She lives with a cat right now but we keep them separate, I think she'd be better in a cat free home. She's playful and sassy and also very chill at home, no doubt that someone will fall in love with her. I'm not in a rush but I know I can't take care of her any more and need
