About Cody

Cody is a 5 year old neutered Maltese. He is 9 pounds of pure joy, most of the time. Unfortunately, he suffers from anxiety and has been known to bite and leash pull. The reactivity at home is mostly exhibited when people come to the door. Now, I muzzle him when company comes and take it off once everyone is here. He's fine then. And, he's fine when we go to others homes. He's great off leash in the country and with other dogs. The main problem is that, because of my age, I'm moving to an apartment in Bridgeport CT to be near family. While I found a place that allows dogs, since I rescued him 11 months ago, Cody has lived in the country with a fenced yard. We also have friends with small dogs and acreage and he loves to run in the fields and woods off leash. He'll be miserable in the city. If you live in the country or suburbs with a fenced yard and are young and can provide this darling with plenty of exercise and playtime, he'll be a wonderful companion.
