About Julie

Julie came to us 3 months ago because her previous owners were aging and developing health issues. Her previous owners got her from a shelter, when she was two, where she kept to herself avoiding contact with all people and other cats (per the previous owners). I consider her a trauma cat. I thought she might do well with my well-adjusted trauma cat, but now I think she needs to be a one and only. I do not know how she would do with other animals. While she seems to have some hunter spirit in her, she is usually pretty low energy. She does like to play--I think, perhaps, that may be new to her. I believe she misses her previous home, and so would do well with a single person or a couple who is settled, home often, and doesn't have a lot of visitors. She is sooo sweet and cuddly, once she trusts you, which does require a lot of time. If we didn't already have the first trauma cat, I would definitely keep this one. The previous owner kept her hair cut short, but I am letting it grow out. Ask me for an updated picture and I will gladly take one and send it to you. NOTE: I cannot promise she is full Persian. A secondary 'unknown' is not a choice.
