A Hail Mary post !!! FINAL HOURS FOR A DOG NAMED LOVE American Bulldog Trembling. Petrified. Trying to make his 74-lb body look small enough to disappear , that's how Love spends his days at the shelter. This sweet, gentle boy has already lost everything. His family gave him up not once but twice, the last time because they claimed to have 'no space' and 'allergies.' Imagine that - losing the only people you've ever trusted and ending up terrified and alone on a cold shelter floor. Now, Love's name is on the list. He's been chosen to leave the shelter dead or alive by October 12th 2025. Going to need a miracle, the shelter plans to kill him today Sunday . He is both house and crate trained, such a good boy and so handsome. True to his name, Love is exactly that a big heart wrapped in a 2-year-old body. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and adored belly rubs and rope toys in his former home. His family described him as social, goofy, and happiest near his people. He melts under gentle hands, craving affection he no longer understands why he lost. At the care center, he tries his best to stay hopeful. He shakes in fear, tail tucked, yet still leans in when someone offers kindness. Notes for a new family Love is a social, affectionate, lovable, active and playful dog who enjoys spending his time wherever his people are when he's not resting in his crate. He allows his family to bathe and brush him, knows the cues sit, stay, in, is crate trained to do well in a standard large crate for up to 6 hours and is accustomed to going on 30min long walks 1-2 times a day. He gets nervous when being in a car but enjoys belly rubs, rope toys and beef flavored treats. He lived with adults and teenagers . All he wants is a safe place, a loving heart, and the chance to feel wanted again. Please - don't let Love's story end here. He has so much life left to give, so much love still to share.
