About Meatball

Meatball aka Oscar is a READY TO GO DOG! 1 year old pei mix around 55lbs. He is full grown. Very friendly and bouncing with energy out of the gate, but settles down quickly and just wants to cuddle. He is the perfect family dog and while he does get along with most dog. As with most dogs, sharing toys or food can lead to scuffles and will need to be monitored and redirection may be neccessary. He has no issues with humans over food or toys and loves to play with other dogs. He just may not want to share his stuff. He will require training and firm redirection in the sharing department with other dogs and resources. Meatball needs structure and a firm,confident handler for walkies or he very hard to handle. Give him boundaries right off the bat and he will show you his leash manners. Offleash you just get out of his way until the zoomies subside because you may get taken out by that muscular butt of his as he gets to swinging around like a puppy on scooby snacks. Older, hardy children are going to love him, but toddlers may get bounced. If you love a dog with a huge personality and lots of fun energy, this dude is the one for you! After a short burnoff he is ready for cuddles and snuggles.
