About Jess

This girl is an absolute sweetheart (she is on the left in this photo). She has a very calm soothing temperament and could easily be a service dog. She loves a good cuddle and is more of a 'human-dog' than a 'dogs dog'. She's also independent and not needy if you don't want to give cuddles, she will happily just like to be in your company. She will let you know if she wants pats by lifting up her paw. In a dog park, she often plays the mediator and doesn't like it if other dogs play fight and likes to bark and cut in. She is also a resource guarder and doesn't like it if another dog grabs her toy, approaches her human that's giving her affection and can sometimes just be a bit ticked off at other dogs. Nothing serious as it's all bark and no bite. She absolutely loves Jedai and feels protective of him at times and can't really live without him (despite him being okay without her!). This girl will melt your heart, she will give you eye gazes and will try and nuzzle as close as possible Jess comes as a pair with Jedai, who is also posted on rescueme.org. They are likely mother and son and are beautifully bonded
