About Josie

Josie is a sweet, bubbly girl but very reserved at first. Loves her owners and the people she knows well but very territorial and apprehensive around new people. Gets nippy with new people and can be reactive. Probably not suitable for a multi dog household as she can be territorial. Gets excited to see other dogs but should be supervised as she can be reactive depending on the dog. We didn't have very many dogs for her to interact with during our time with her. Obedience trained, house trained and crate trained. Great on the leash. Needs training and supervision meeting new people due to her tendency to nip and bite with her front teeth. Very energetic and loves 1-2 walks a day or lots of space for her to run around and explore. Obsessed with squirrels and loves to go after them. Josie will be great with someone who be willing to put in the work for her, give time to train her and be willing to snuggle with her all day long. She has had a hard first few years and needs some work with her behavior, but is a sweet loving girl who deserves a chance at a fulfilling life!
