About Tucker

Hi there! My name is Tucker, and I'm a gorgeous 5-year-old chocolate cocker spaniel and I am 23 pounds of pure love and fluff! For the last four years, I spent most of my time caged and alone. But you know what? That didn't break my spirit! Now that I'm in my foster home, I wake up every single morning like it's the BEST DAY EVER! I leap out of bed, ready to potty, play, and shower everyone with kisses. I have SO much puppy energy, you'd never guess I'm 5! Here's the thing about me - I'm a professional cuddler. I want to be in your lap, on your lap, next to your lap�'�| basically anywhere near you! I'll try to jump into your arms when you're standing (don't worry, I'm light as a feather and I promise it's the sweetest thing). I LOVE to nuzzle faces, give hugs and kisses, and sleep in the big bed with my humans. Honestly, I think I'm a little lap dog in a spaniel's body! I'm great with other dogs and love to play and give my older foster siblings deference (they are not big into playing). I'll pick out a toy and carry it around for a bit, and when I get excited chasing something or running to the door, I literally leap several feet in the air! I'm still working on my housebreaking skills (I've got part of it down!), and I definitely need some leash training because there's just SO MUCH to smell out there! But I'm smart, I want to please, and I'm learning quickly. I already know my name! I do need a forever home with at least a 6-foot fence since I'm quite the jumper, and I shouldn't be left outside unattended�'�|yea I like to dig under fences too. But trust me, you'll want me inside with you anyway because I'm the softest, most lovable boy you'll ever meet! Despite everything I've been through, I'm not timid or shy. I settled into my foster home so quickly, and now I'm ready to find my forever family. I have tons of love to give, and I promise to be the most devoted companion.
