About Murray

Murray: 7-8 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 14', 22 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. Meet Murray, your new best buddy. Murray is the ultimate companion dog. He may not be a youngster but he is not an oldster either. He is in his prime and ready for his forever home. This sweet boy loves to cuddle and waits for an invitation to snuggle up close and get pets. Once the petting session is started, he will tap you with his paw for more if you stop. Murray loves to be close to his people. He sleeps peacefully through the night in a little doggie bed on our bed. Murray knows so many commands already. It's almost like he knows exactly what we are asking of him and he is very responsive. He is such a good boy! He is learning the doggie door and is potty trained. He will come and get one of us to open the big door for him if he is not feeling brave enough to push through the doggie door flap to go outside. He loves to go on walks but can be reactive to certain other dogs while walking. We have yet to figure out his logic for which dogs he is happy to see and which one make him just a little grumpy. He gets along with the other dogs in the household with no issues during introductions. Murray has a silly, playful side that he is just beginning to share with us and it is delightful! We do not know how Murray is with cats, but he is very prey driven so probably not a good cat friend.
