It is with very heavy heart that I need to find Walter a home better suited to him. He is very stout and weighs 66 pounds and my aging back cannot handle him. He LOVES people. Will growl at a new dog but never does anything and soon he is fine with them. He is fine with cats but does not like them sleeping next to him. Again he will growl but not do anything but maybe move. I just want someone who loves bassets and understands them. I will give more history to responders. He does need a fenced yard as bassets do.
