About Garbonzo

I cannot stress that enough. I need more than 'I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her'. Meet Garbonzo, an approximately 3-year-old, presumed Shih-poo, weighing in at 10 pounds, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Not much is known about his previous history except that he was a hot mess. He was matted like brillo, riddled with infected foxtails, sores, and open wounds under each limb, across his back, and in between his toes. He didn't need just a grooming; he needed to be sheared like a sheep. Garbonzo is ready for a new chapter. He loves playing with his foster mates and is doing well with potty manners. He does well with recall except when called to go outside. He is doing better- but needs some urging. He is not a barker in his foster home, not destructive, and an eager pleaser. His ideal home will be a young family with another playmate dog. Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset the cost of medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. His adoption fee is $175. to the approved applicant.
