About CHULO

Chulo is a precious little fellow sadly in need of a new home. His contact writes, 'My dad is 84 years old and can no longer care for his poodle who is blind. If you could adopt his dog that would be great. My dad has sleepless night worrying about his dog Chulo. If you can help we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.' Chulo was originally purchased from a breeder and has been with his owner for 14 years. Name: Chulo Age: 14 years Breed: Toy Poodle (5 pounds) Sex: Male, Neutered per contact Location: Bexar County, TX Vet Info: Chulo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative per his contact, and we're told records are available. He is microchipped. Dog Info: Chulo is an indoor dog with run of the house. He is housebroken and leash trained. We're told he is good with people of all ages, and both male and female dogs. Chulo is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never shown aggression. Chulo's contact tells us Chulo may have difficulty adapting to a new situation. He writes, 'My dad sometimes leaves Chulo with me, and it's great because he gets along really well with my dog, Harley, but he does seem to have a bit of a tough time adjusting at my house since it's a new environment for him.' We're told Chulo is about 90% blind due to cataracts, but other than that, he is a healthy dog. Chulo's contact also wants us to know this will help his dad and they appreciate any help we can give.
