About Blue

Meet Blue! At 76 pounds, he's what we would call a gentle giant. This sweet boy gets along with anyone and everyone he has ever met, human and furry friends alike! Blue is currently staying in a short term foster home where he gets along well with many different animals (including multiple other dogs both big and small). Here is what his foster has to say about him: '(Blue) is a good dog. He has been staying with me for one week and has learned the doggie door instantly, has not made any messes in the house or torn anything up. I have a number of dogs and he gets along with all of them! Blue wants attention and loves butt scratches, belly rubs and loves drinking water from the hose. He loves playing with toys and just wants to be near me. He will make someone an awesome companion. The more time I spend with Blue, the more he picks up new skills. He is smart and learns fast. He genuinely wants to be a good companion and to fit in with everyone. Blue is energetic and enjoys staying active. However, he has also figured out when it is best to take a break and unwind. Blue still has a strong affection for playing with water from a hose. It is one of his favorite activities, and it brings him so much joy.' When Blue came into our care, he was already neutered, microchipped, and had clearly been well taken care of.
