About Koda

Meet Koda! Koda is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd/Malinois mix weighing around 50 lbs. She was rescued from a neglectful situation and has come a long way since! Koda is spayed, house-trained, and leash-trained, and she's scheduled to get her rabies vaccine soon. This smart, playful girl absolutely loves to run, fetch, play tug, and chase the flirt pole. She's full of energy and would thrive with someone who can keep up with her active lifestyle and continue her training. She knows 'sit' and is working on 'down' she catches on quickly and wants to please. Koda gets along great with the previous owner's German Shepherd, though her enthusiastic playstyle can be a bit much for some dogs. She can be unsure around men in certain situations, but with patience and positive experiences, she warms up. The only minor quirk she has is occasionally growling at the previous owner's cat if he walks by during mealtime, but she's never shown any aggression toward people or other dogs. Koda has so much potential and love to give. But needs a home willing to contribute their time to her needs.
