About Sandy

Sandy is the sweetest boy. He was adopted in 2013 and was a faithful companion to an elderly couple for 12 years. His dad passed in June 2025 at 88 years old and his mom has Parkinson’s and dementia and can no longer walk. Over the years they took numerous hikes and snuggled for countless hours. He is definitely a lover and will gently nudge you with his paw for more pets. He loves treats, rarely barks and likes to get outside for short walks where he sniffs everything he can. He needs a loving home for his remaining years since his mom can’t take care of him anymore. He is currently being fostered by their daughter until she can find him a permanent home.
