About Mattie

Male, 10 years old (estimated), 12 pounds Mattie had been through a lot in his time before joining us here at POMDR. The poor boy has several medical concerns, including some touchy masses when he came in and a diagnosis of Cushings disease. Despite all of the discomfort he must be in, this boy is an absolute angel! He doe well around other dogs and is super food motivated! Mattie happens to be the sweetest boy, he doesn't ask or need for much! He loves to follow you around to make sure he's not missing out on the action. Mattie also does well being left alone, always greeting his foster mom with a wagging tail when she comes home. Mattie joined us from Los Banos Animal Services after being found as a stray. They realized it was in Mattie's best interest to land with a rescue to address the ruptured masses and skin issues he came in with. We're happy to report that Mattie is on the path to a whole new life! We hope you can join him along his journey.
