Meet Kayleigh! Kayleigh was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Texas and has blossomed quickly into such a happy and playful girl! She completed her heartworm treatment months ago with flying colors - and right after that, she broke her toe! But don't worry, it healed beautifully, and she hasn't missed a beat since. This resilient girl is now happy, healthy, and ready for her forever home! A little about Kayleigh: - Loves to play with other dogs but also enjoys lounging on a soft bed. - She and her Beagle buddy in her foster home are best buds and romp and snuggle constantly! - Gets along great with cats. - Wonderful with children. - Dog social and loves canine friends. - Walks well on a leash with a harness (both will go with her). - Fully house trained and kennel trained. ** She says the best thing about living inside instead of the streets of Texas or the shelter is the soft blankets and endless belly rubs! She has the softest muzzle too! **Not a big fan of thunderstorms, but she's made great progress! She'll come with medication to help her stay calm during storms. She isn't destructive, but prefers to be close to her person or in the laundry room with the dyer on (ONLY if someone is home) for comfort. Kayleigh is the perfect mix of playful and chill, loyal and loving. She's ready to fill her forever home with snuggles and smiles!!
