Bandit is a young heeler mix. He was an owner surrender to a shelter in Louisiana who was scheduled to be euthanized. We were asked to help him. This sweet boy was originally in temporary foster care in Louisiana while waiting for transport to Florida... Here is the report from the foster home he is currently in: I think it is safe to say he's an A+ heeler! He's passed shadows test (shadow older black lab ~understood shadows boundaries and respected him. He's passed Lou's test-yellow lab. All good there! He's passed Willow -young Blk lab female; he's passed the small dog test with Winston. He tends to be a little much for Winston. Especially when he puts his paw on Winston's head. Not sure he has ever been introduced to a small dog before. It's the same reaction with the cats. Unsure. Tries to paw to see what they will do. ****************************UPDATE He is now in Florida and is doing absolutely wonderful at the foster home!! Fit right in and rolled with it all!!!! He is housebroken, working on leash skills, sweet good natured moderate activity. Gets along with all people, kids and dogs!!!!! This will be a great dog for an active home, maybe a weekend warrior dog sport home, hiking jogging kayaking!!!! All vetted hw neg and ready to roll!! We are in need of a great home for this boy!! He will be coming to Florida end of October and will be fostered in Gainesville area. Anyone out there looking for a great dog should consider this boy!!!!!! Apps are at ewenityfarmsbch.com.
