About Finley

Meet Finley, a 2-3 year old, 10-pound Beaver Pom looking for his happily ever after! He was found as a stray in NJ, but did not enjoy shelter life so when he came into our care it took some time for him decompress and learn how to be a dog. Finley has some more learning to do, but it's time for him to bond with his forever family while he heals emotionally. He is healthy, but does take joint supplements and 1 anxiety medication a day that must be continued for life. Finley takes time to warm to new places and people so the first week he needs space, and then it clicks, he trusts, and becomes the best companion. He is house trained, crate trained, does well in a car, and loves outdoor activities like swimming or parkour. He loves toys and is a true foodie which is great for all your training needs. Finley does require a fenced since putting on harnesses and leashes are stressful for him especially with new people, but he is learning it means fun is in store.
