About Teddy

Adoption Fee: $175
Anatolian Shepherd mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Are you looking for a long legged 'Teddy' Bear??? This handsome 70-pound brindle shepherd mix came from a rural shelter where he was in danger of euthanasia. He came in with an open fracture of his front leg, and a recommendation for amputation. The shelter thought he had been shot, but after being examined and x-rayedm it was determined that he had most likely been hit by a car. The vet guessed that he was about 8-10 months old and that the leg could be saved! And that's exactly what happened! Fast forward 8 weeks....Teddy has healed and finally lost his 'cone of shame' and leg splints. He was a trooper for all these weeks and became quite the star at the vet's office. Things to know about Teddy: %90%BELoves to be with his people and longs for a head scratch or belly rub %90%BEHouse trained with outside potty breaks %90%BESleeps and rests quietly in his crate %90%BEWalks well on a leash %90%BEKnows some basic commands (sit, down, off) and is highly intelligent and trainable %90%BECurious and wants to play with other dogs.
