Posting for a friend in Leisure World - this sweet spaniel is Seamus, a neutered 11/12 yo guy whose owner had to be moved to a care facility. Seamus was used to being with his owner 24/7 and is really suffering from separation anxiety. He just wants a quiet place to grow old with someone who is home most of the time. He will walk on a leash with his collar or halter, but preters a sedentary life with someone who will just be around so he doesn't have to be alone. Not much exposure to kids, but gets along with other dogs and loves people. He needs a soft place to land where he won't spend big chunks of time by himself, and even though he loves other dogs, he wants his his own human(s) in addition to/instead of canine companionship.
