But recently, our grandmother passed away, leaving me to do right by her and them by finding new homes for these sweet cats so they can have a good quality of life. My two huskies don't get along with cats, so I'm unable to bring them into my home. Pepe is another talker like his sister Angel. He also loves to be pet all over and has learned how to be picked up and is now learning to be okay with being held for extended periods. He and Pepper tend to be the most curious cats and are the first to explore new things. Pepe was very close to my grandmother and probably took her departure the hardest of all of them. He was comfortable lying in her lap and mine. He tends to spend the most time with either Pepper or Arie and enjoys spending hours in the Catio. He usually plays with toys if they're offered to him. He can also be playful with all the other cats. He loves to be petted on the cheeks or hind end and a soft pat on his bottom. He has striking green eyes, complementing his black fur, and loves to hold eye contact as he stares at you lovingly
