Cedar will be 3 years old in February of 2026. I adopted her at 4 months old from a woman living in the wilderness with 12 other dogs. I was told that she is 1/2 blue heeler, 1/4 husky, and 1/4 german shepherd. Cedar has become a special part of our family and has an extremely loving personality with our family and with people in her circle but takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people and may not be good for families with small children. Her energy and temperament level does not work in our neighborhood. Walking her is a challenge as she is leash reactive (which we are working on). This behavior is challenging in a neighborhood with so many dogs. She has strong affection and loyalty to her family, is extremely intelligent. She needs to be in a place where she can use her amazing brain. If she can run, herd animals, and have work to do then there is no doubt in my mind that she will be an asset to the right family.
