Nebula is a 9 year old spayed female cat. We have had her since she was a little kitten and she has always been very docile and friendly. We have a four year old and a baby and Nebula has recently started showing signs of severe anxiety (peeing/spraying in the kids play room, eating tags and strings, meowing loudly). We brought her to the vet and they suggested some calming options which we have tried to implement (an additional litter box, another cat bed, moving her cat tree out of the play room)... But after over a month of trying, I still can't seem to calm her down enough to be happy in our home. She is gentle and great with the kids and our other cat and dog but she is still peeing small amounts and spraying near where my kids play which I can't handle anymore. I'm at a loss for what to do because she's been such a part of our family for so long... But she needs a home with less stress.
