Sonar is a cute little 12 year old senior Jack Russell Terrier Chihuahua mix that arrived to the shelter as a stray from the South Wrigley area in #LongBeach. Sonar hasn't been at the shelter for very long & already isn't doing well due to his current living situation lacking vision & suffering from some senior-related medical concerns. Sadly, smaller dogs with severe vision impairment have a very difficult time coping with their small surrounding, causing severe stress on them & rapidly affecting their quality of life.
