My name is Chewy. I am about 15 months and around 50 lbs. We aren't really sure what I am but here are some ideas - Ridgeback, Chow, Lab. Those are probably pretty close! When I went to my foster home a few months ago, I was a very timid boy. I was likely never shown anything consistent in my young life. I have put in the effort to enjoy my surroundings and try new things! It didn't take me too long - I love life! I enjoy other dogs and love my two foster siblings. I am gentle and unassuming. I have really learned how to 'dog' now! I am easy in many ways and I am out of the puppy phase. I want to please, watch and learn. I am also a quiet dog. I am looking for a patient, consistent and compassionate home that consists of kind souls. I have learned all the things and have the tools to take with me from my wonderful foster home to my forever home. I like being close to my humans and dogs and I have so much interest in exploring what more life has to offer. I go on walks and I even ride in the car! A fenced in yard is a good idea for me - just because it gives me the freedom to go at my own pace and I love to hang out in the yard with my people. I love the flirt pole, playing keep away with my toys, looking out the window and snoozing on the couch.
