He gets along great with other dogs, is gentle with kids, and even does well with cats - a true all-around family companion. Bam does show barrier aggression toward other dogs while in his kennel - meaning he may bark or act tough when other dogs walk by. But outside the kennel, he's a completely different dog: sweet, playful, and affectionate. This behavior is common in shelter environments and is based on fear, not actual aggression. Once he's out and about, Bam is a total lovebug who thinks he's a lap dog and thrives on attention.
