About Kevin

We're looking to find a new, loving home for our 5-year-old dog, Kevin. He's a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and a loyal spirit. Kevin is incredibly smart, well-trained, and deeply bonded with the people he knows and trusts. However, he struggles with anxiety and can be wary of new people, which has made it challenging for him to fully thrive in our busy home environment. He occasionally will growl at our young children if they are bothering him which is another reason behind feeling it would be best to rehome him. He does well with older kids. As our family continues to grow-with two young kids and another on the way-we've realized that we can't give Kevin the space and calm he truly needs. He would do best in a quiet, structured setting with plenty of room to run-ideally a farm or large property where he can stretch his legs and lean into his natural herding instincts. This has been a very difficult decision, as we love Kevin dearly, but we know he deserves a life that better suits his personality and energy. If you or someone you know could offer Kevin the right home, we'd be incredibly grateful.
