Our fav shortie Deja needs rescue/adoption by WED Oct 8th 4PM!!!!Medically alerted !!!!! Video: https://fb.watch/CATxAY656e/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e Scrumptious meatball momma Deja was surrendered by her owners on August 23rd and sadly they decided to leave no information about her. The just left her with a dirty coat & fleas! Poor girl only had 2 outings before she fell very sick with an upper respiratory infection. She was confined to her cage for weeks while she was trying to recover but this didn't stop her volunteer friends from admiring her fab bod and spunky spirit! She was a bit reserved her first time out, chilling nearby volunteers and content to watch the world go by. But quickly she became wiggly, enjoying butt scratches, climbing up into laps looking for affection and happily eating treats. Deja has not had time for many doggie playdates at the shelter due to her URI- notes describe her as tolerant, gentle/dainty, briefly playful with sexually motivated male, gave appropriate corrections. She's a confident lil gal and slow/monitored intros are always recommended! Deja should have a long future ahead of her. But she has been struggling to get over her URI fully while living in a shelter kennel. She should see a private vet for consultation and (possible) further treatment, and to be recovering IN A HOME! Sadly, her life is now on the line and she has just HOURS left to find her hero! All that waiting in her kennel can't be in vain.
