About LUCY

LUCY is a 6 year old, 9 pound Pomeranian surrendered to find a new home. She is quiet by nature but has such a loving spirit. She will make a wonderful addition to a calm, caring home. LUCY is a friendly, happy little dog who just wants to be loved. She enjoys spending time with her people, asking for attention by putting her paws on your leg when she wants to be picked up. She isn't a big kisser, but enjoys affection and attention. LUCY loves to play and would be best with another small dog as a companion. She has been around older kids and did fine. We have not had her around cats but can't imagine she would have an issue with them. LUCY is doing very well with her potty training, though she may still have an occasional accident. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard since she isn't comfortable walking on a leash yet. At night LUCY sleeps peacefully in the kitchen with her foster siblings and enjoys napping on her own during the day. LUCY has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally.
