This girl. She's so beautiful and so SO smart. She's going to make someone a wonderful dog. Cocoa Bean is an energetic and active one year old pittie. I hesitate to call her 'high energy' because I think that's a subjective term. What is 'a lot' for one family is just normal activity for another. She is definitely not a couch potato, but she is more than happy to snuggle up on the couch with her people after she's got her energy out. She's on the smaller side, but very muscular. Cocoa Bean is cat-friendly %90. Probably too friendly for some cats who may not appreciate her playful energy. (see video in previous posts). She is dog-friendly %90 with a bit of a rowdy play style (see previous post). She LOVES people! Cocoa Bean is house-trained. She has been in a couple foster homes over the past 5-6 weeks and has never had an accident. One foster crated her when she left for a few hours at at time and she did fine. She would probably not do well crated all day long. I have left her for up to two hours and did not crate her. She watched out the back door for a while and then got on the couch and took a nap. She has not been destructive with anything except her chew toys. Cocoa Bean walks well on a leash and generally does not pull when we're out on walks. When we pass people on the trails, she does not react. If we stop to talk to people, she will pull like crazy to try to meet them. She also gets very jumpy when someone new comes into the house because she is SO excited to meet them. So she could use some training on polite greetings. She also pulls when she knows we're going to the car to go for a ride. She's a great car rider. Cocoa Bean is VERY smart and knows several commands including: sit, down, place, paw, center. She is highly treat motivated and loves to learn new things. You can see a lot more about Cocoa Bean by going to Facebook and putting her hashtag in the search bar #vcdarcocoabean
