Looking to Rehome Our Sweet Boy, Ky We are looking to find a loving new home for Ky, our 3-year-old Border Collie (born July 17, 2022). Ky is a wonderful mix of energetic and mellow-he enjoys playtime and walks but is also a total snuggler who loves being close to his person. He is crate trained, fully potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. While Ky gets along well with our kids, he does not do well with cats and has recently started having conflicts with our other male dog, which is the main reason we are making the very difficult decision to rehome him. In our experience, Ky tends to bond more strongly with female caretakers and responds better to a woman's voice and presence, so we'd ideally love to find him a home with a female owner. He thrives in a calm, one-pet household where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. Ky is up to date on all vaccinations as well as neutered and will come with his crate, leash and harness, food bowl, and a small bag of food to help with the transition.
