About KIARA

Courtesy posting: KIARA, San Diego, So Cal MEET KIARA - She is a 9 month old Belgian Malinois mix and she is only 45 pounds. She was rescued from euthanasia at the last minute from a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles area. She has been with me for almost 2 weeks and I think she is the sweetest dog with an amazing, loving temperament and balanced nature. Here is some info about her: - She is learning how to be a puppy and enjoy life again with confidence and excitement. -She loves dogs and would do best with another confident dog who enjoys playing and can be a teacher for her. - She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines - She is house broken - She is phenomenal in the car - Very curious, energetic, observant - Amazing off switch - Doesn't bark - Crate trained - Learning how to be great on leash - NOT reactive to anything on walks (including bikes, sirens, horns, cars, dogs, people, etc). - Sleeps outside of the crate at night with no issues but would love to sleep in bed with a person - Food/Toy motivated - Would do best with a working dog experienced owner - Learning basic obedience and is a fast learner and eager to please - She has a high prey drive and needs to be watched with cats and small dogs until she understands they are family. - I wouldnt recommend a home with chickens/rabbits/etc. She is available for adoption through Saving Gizmo's Friends or you may email the rescue directly at: [email protected] Note: We have additional pictures and video on her FB post at: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0M8t5gKtVf8qBuKQf8fBRdrpdgFgNasQT7S9RycAK5D6DgqNrhwauzwchC5UtQ14El&id=783968124&mibextid=wwXIfr
