Walter came into rescue when he was picked up as a stray and taken to the dog pound. He was extremely scared and not doing well in the noisy shelter. Since coming into rescue, Walter has been getting a lot of behavior training. He's a loving, goofy boy and he thrives with structure. He loves to play with toys, run outside, and snuggle. He is a very sweet boy, but he can act out at times. He will snap if he gets scared. We recommend continuing his training. He enjoys learning and responds very well to positive reinforcement. We feel Walter would thrive as an only dog, preferably with a female owner. We don't feel he would do well with kids. We don't know what he went through prior to ending up as a stray and he needs a confident owner to help him be his best self! Walter is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is being fostered in Natrona Heights, PA and is available for an adoption fee of $400.00. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org ***Petfinder/ RescueMe inquiries are NOT considered applications and may not be responded to***
