About Chin Mei

Hi there, My name is May, and I live in Taipei. I'd like to share the story of a rescued dog with you. Her name is Chun-Mei. When volunteers found her with her three puppies, they rescued the whole family. Sadly, Chun-Mei was in terrible condition-her ears and tail had been cut off, her front teeth had been pulled out, and her nasal bone was injured. No one knows how she managed to survive, let alone keep her puppies safe and healthy. It's truly a miracle. Due to her severe injuries, Chun-Mei needs special medical care and emotional support. This comes at a high cost, and it makes it difficult for an average person to adopt her. On top of that, she is a medium-sized black dog, which often makes adoption even harder, especially in urban areas where people live in small apartments and may be less willing to take in larger dogs. When I first heard Chun-Mei's story, my heart broke. I cried for all that she had suffered. I understand that her chances of being adopted are very low-but I haven't given up hope. That's why I'm reaching out to you. I hope that Chun-Mei's story, and her incredible resilience, touches your heart as it did mine.
