About Nikola

Welcome NIKOLA to ARK Charities. This black beauty got her freedom ride out of the shelter yesterday with our friend Robert and is safe with Beth, her foster. Nikola, Nikki, is a 69lb , spayed and friendly girl. She is heartworm positive and will begin her treatment today so she can come north to find her new family. At the shelter Nikki kept a clean kennel, was dog neutral walking through the kennels by all the barking dogs and seems like a gentle soul. It is clear she loved someone at some point in her life because she was looking longingly for a person who never came for her. But that will never happen again! Last night she slept in a warm bed, got a good meal in a quiet and safe home and felt love again. She will never again be an afterthought, abandoned, neglected, without loving care and left behind. She will always have soft beds, be met with gentle hands, have quality care and lots of love. Soon she will shine again and find a family worthy of her devotion and love- and we will be here to make that happen for this, beautiful and deserving girl.
