This is Jasper. He's easily one of the greatest and smartest dogs I've ever met and is an excellent companion. I found him on the side of a nearby highway 2 months ago, collared but not chipped, emaciated and infested with multiple parasites which he has been treated for. He's very protective and loyal, tough as he can be but he's not aggressive toward people; he's stoic and observant. I'd prefer to keep him but his prey drive is high for my cats so he has to stay outside or he has to be crated indoors if my cats aren't confined to a room. My hope is to find him the best possible home and family. Ideally he would be great for someone living alone that feels vulnerable and has no other pets. He's being neutered tomorrow and is now almost fully rehabilitated. He loves to go on walks and adventures and is great in the car. He is house, leash and crate trained. Whoever had him before me really took time with him. He's built short and lean like an English Staffy but has a big bulldog head. He weighs about 55 lbs and is fairly easy to manage but this breed can be very determined without proper discipline. Can anyone out there help us find him the perfect home??
