Courtesy Posting: ORANGE COUNTY, CA (GARDEN GROVE IN S CAL)- SUPER ADORABLE 9 YR CHOW 'SIMBA' WHOSE OWNER SADLY PASSED AWAY- IN NEED OF A LOVING, FOREVER HOME HE DESERVES Please help us find a loving and forever home for dear Simba, whose owner passed away where he lived since a young puppy. A family member was taking care of him after this, but recently lost their home. Simba is now in a temporary place only, having to spend too much time in a crate he does not care for understandably. We are told Simba is 'friendly with kids been around babies toddlers and children of all ages. A little hesitant of males but once he gets to know you he warms up. I know he has been around one male pit bull puppy and was fine with him but not sure how he interacts with other pets'. Simba is believed to be current on shots or at least through last year, but will need to be neutered and this may be sponsored. He has reportedly done fine at the vet, but does not care for being groomed and had to be sedated at some point. We have nice video of Simba interacting with a child he knows, and loving to be pet around his face and body. He has no reported bites the family was aware of. The family has known and been visiting Simba over the years. If you are dog savvy and are interested in meeting and adopting Simba, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist with his placement. All adopters will be asked for a home check (which may be virtual), an application, a vet reference, proof of prior chows, and a signed adoption contract agreeing to cooperate with him being neutered. We will be posting more pictures and his adorable video on facebook at: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10167856142368125&id=783968124&mibextid=wwXIfr Note: to view contents of link you will need to copy and paste it into your browser.
