This is Kimora, or as we call her.. Mori or MooMoo! She has been hand fed in her younger years making her a very loyal lady, when she goes on walks she walks right against the side of your leg making sure everyone knows she has your back! Also making her very food driven. House trained, does tricks like sit and lay down with hand signals as well as doing some spins! Shes very protective and when she barks it sounds like she was a pack a day smoker for 40 years in a past life! She loves adventures to the lake though she doesnt go enough anymore! Life has changed for Kimora quite a bit in the last few years as it has for our whole family. With moving houses a few times, un going to school/ starting new careers and added babies to a newly blended family, she definitely doesnt get the doggy treatments she deserves. But.. we have noticed some behavioral concerns in Kimora which are the main reasons for us believing she is just better in a different home. Although of course she has pent up energy, I believe these problems possibly stem from the puppy mill she was rescued from. She a hard time with anything moving under blankets, specifically feet, pounces on your ankles when you or .. really anything runs or floats past. Loves scraps and is a howler! Is pretty territorial when comes to her toys and treats. Kimora loves the crap out of kids dont get me wrong! Absolutely great, my baby can roll all over her and Kimora just follows her around all day and licks her! Which makes the next part hard! She did bite my childs (6) feet/ankles when we were on the swings, and nipped at my toddler (1.5) just the other night. Granted were working on soft hands with our 1.5 year old. but was also very territorial with one of our daughters (12) friends. Challenging her, bullying behavior and honestly making us very nervous as were unsure where this behavior is coming from or what to do about it. We have taken her to a trainer, which she did GREAT at and few days after. But we just sadly cannot commit to such a necessity. She is such a great dog, with even great potential. Am thinking that chapter might be with another family unfortunately for us.
