About Birdie

Birdie is an 11-month-old #27 lovely mixl (Corgi/Dachshund/Chihuahua/Terrier). She is such a sweet girl. After morning zoomies, she'd love to snuggle with you on the couch all day. She is dog friendly and while she hasn't had a lot of interactions with kids, the few she has met while out walking have gone well, so respectful children 8+ may be considered. Birdie sleeps in her crate all night and is house trained as long as someone is available to take her out regularly. She is learning to walk on a leash and respond to basic cues like come and sit. She mainly just wants to be with her people, but she also enjoys sitting outside in the sun and entertaining herself with toys. While not destructive, she does need to be supervised, or she might collect up her family's socks or chew on something that's not a toy. She is not tested around cats and would like to chase rabbits if allowed. Her only dislike is not being able to see her human and she will whine in disapproval so Birdie would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day.
