Helloooo ������%8F� new friends, I'm Toby, one of the Coastal Cavalier rescues from a breeder surrender. I'm a 5-year-old Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who weighs just 10 pounds, but I'm really just a puppy at heart �����%8F because I'm only now discovering what it means to truly be a dog. You see, I spent my first years as a breeding dog, so life wasn't very kind to me before I came to FCCR. But my foster mom is teaching me that the world can be gentle and full of wonderful things like eating (twice a day-can you believe it?!), sleeping ���%A4 in cozy spots, playing with toys, �٤� and my absolute favorite discovery: CUDDLING. I love resting my head on my foster mom's lap, and honestly, I could stay there forever. I'm still pretty timid and nervous when I meet new people. I get excited and want to trust you, but my little heart needs time to understand that you're safe. I'm also working hard on housebreaking (foster mom says I'm getting the idea!), learning to walk on a leash (it's a bit scary but I'm trying!), and becoming braver every single day. I love playing tug-of-war with my foster siblings, even though I usually lose. ���� But hey, I'm working on that too! ��ջ��%8F� What I need is a patient person who will continue my training, give me the time I need to blossom, and understand that I'm a work in progress. My foster mom says I'm so sweet and try so hard that she knows I'll succeed-I just need someone who believes in me too. �ٴ� I do best in a calm home without young children since loud noises and sudden movements still make me nervous.
